[ THE FORMAT ]

A TV ad with the post still inside it.

Your post inside a designed 16:9 frame. Handle, caption and counts included.

The frame

Full height, about a third of the screen. We design the rest.

The counts

On screen and dated. Rebuilt mid-flight where the publisher allows.

The finish

Mastered for transcode. Captions resized, audio mixed for a room.

The length

Bring 13 or 27 seconds. The end card fills a 15 or 30.

Light and dark versions are separate files, picked per placement.

[ WHY BRANDS DO IT ]

The shoot is the bottleneck, not the idea.

Production cost is the top barrier to more creative. The asset usually already exists.

No shoot

Skip the biggest line. Rights, reframing and finishing remain.

Enough cuts to rotate

CTV frequency runs high. Social keeps the rotation fed.

A route onto TV

Brands that cannot justify a TV production still get on the screen.

[ WHAT ACTUALLY CHANGES ]

A phone video does not survive a living room untouched.

Everyone says one click. Here is the real work between the post and an airable file.

Reframe, never pad

Padded bars read as a repost. IAB Tech Lab says avoid them. We build the frame.

Legible from the couch

Captions, price and logo resized into the title-safe area. Readable from ten feet.

Mixed for a room

TV playout runs quieter than a feed mix. A straight lift goes flat.

Chosen by how they read

We screen for assets that hold up full screen, then shortlist with you.

Ask any partner for a full-screen still of your own asset before you approve. We lead with it.

[ WHO SEES IT ]

Built from what people post in public, then matched to homes.

Pick one to three topics. A model builds the keyword set. We buy connected TV against it.

STEP ONE

You pick the topics

Kitchen remodel cost

Contractors near me

Cabinet refacing

One to three products, services or subjects. Narrower is sharper, and smaller.

STEP TWO

Topics become a keyword set

remodel

cabinets

contractor

kitchen

quote

KEYWORD-BASED AUDIENCE

Public posts and captions are read for those keywords and built into one segment.

STEP THREE

We buy it on connected TV

The segment runs on connected TV supply, then narrows on delivery and site visits.

04

You get the segment’s specs

Audience count, refresh rate, lookback and whether it is modeled, in writing.

Public content only. The household match is a probability, not a list of names. Truthset (CIMM, Nov 2025) found IP-to-address links correct 13% of the time. We label what is modeled and never apply a reach multiplier.

[ RIGHTS ]

The post is cleared for the feed. Television is a different grant.

Where a fast idea turns into a legal problem. We check before anything is built.

Music

Platform music libraries stop at the platform. TV needs its own license or a swap.

Talent

Standard influencer terms cover feeds and websites, not TV. That is a new negotiation.

On-screen numbers

A number on a TV screen is an ad claim. Every version is dated and stale counts come off.

[ HOW IT RUNS ]

Four steps from a post to a flight.

WHAT HAPPENS
We screen your library for what reads full screen.
Completion in feed, legibility at ten feet, sound off, one clear action.
WHAT YOU GET
A shortlist of three to five posts, with the reason each made it.

Click a step. Three weeks to air, nine weeks to a measured answer.

[ PROOF ]

Judged on conversions, not on scans.

Same measurement as every other connected TV flight we buy.

A QR code belongs on screen, not in a business case. CTV scan rates fell to about four per hundred thousand impressions by late 2025 (BrightLine via EMARKETER). We read visits, branded search, foot traffic and matched sales instead.

[ FROM TV TO THE CLICK ]

The tag names the door. It does not name the cause.

On every flight. You add UTMs and a pixel. You get back exposed households that converted.

[ WHAT IT SHOWS ]

The join

TV impressions and site visits matched on the household IP.

The label

The UTM names the door. Untagged visits land in direct or organic.

The window

Lookback set before launch and printed on the report. Longer windows attribute more.

The read

Converting households by channel and week, against the audience bought.

[ WHAT IT DOES NOT SHOW ]

Not lift

Everyone here saw the ad. No holdout, no counterfactual.

Not a person

An IP is a home. 47% of TV viewing has more than one viewer (Nielsen, 2024).

Not off the home network

A conversion on cell data carries a carrier address, not the home one.

Not additive

Google and Meta often claim the same conversion. Read it as overlap, not addition.

IP matching can overstate reach and understate frequency (IAB, 2018). Read it as overlap, not lift.

[ BEFORE YOU BRIEF THIS ]

The questions we get asked, answered straight.

Including the parts that complicate the pitch.

What happens to my vertical video on a 16:9 screen?
icon

Your vertical video becomes one deliberate element inside a designed 16:9 canvas, and the rest of the frame is built around it. We do not pad the sides, because publishers and verification vendors treat padded bars as a delivery defect rather than a style choice, and on a large screen they read as a repost.

Can I use the music that was in the original post?
icon

Usually not. The music libraries inside TikTok and Meta are licensed for use on those platforms and their terms exclude television. We either license the track for broadcast and streaming with the term and territory in writing, or we replace the audio with a cleared bed and keep the dialogue.

Do I already own the right to put a creator on television?
icon

Almost never under the contract you have already signed. Standard influencer terms, including the SAG-AFTRA influencer agreement, permit exhibition on social feeds, YouTube channels and websites, and they specifically exclude television. Before anything is built we pull each agreement and check the media, the term, the territory and whether derivative edits are included.

Are the like and comment counts on screen real?
icon

They are real when each version renders, and they hold still from there. Your spot is a finished video file, and the browser formats that move a number mid-play, VPAID and MRAID, are not accepted on most connected TV devices. What changes is the file behind the tag. Where the publisher allows a mid-flight swap, we rebuild it so the counts stay close to the post. Some publishers re-audit every new file first, so this is a scheduled refresh, not a live feed. Every version carries its date and we keep the source in case anyone asks.

How often do the counts refresh?
icon

We set the cadence with you before the flight and write it into the plan. We do not publish a number we cannot hold. Every rebuild is a new file. Where a publisher stitches ads into the stream on its own servers, a new file has to clear that transcoder first, so the earliest requests after a render get skipped, and some publishers re-audit the file before it can run at all. Refreshing constantly would buy you fresher counts and fewer impressions.

Does the ad know if my television is in dark mode?
icon

No, and be careful with anyone who says it does. We build a light version and a dark one and assign them per placement. Nothing is read off your screen. Which version runs is a decision we make before the flight, the same as the counts: they change between versions, never inside a spot.

Does a social-looking ad make my brand look cheap on television?
icon

Nobody has published independent proof either way, and you should be careful with anyone who tells you otherwise. We treat the social look as a hypothesis and run it against a conventional 16:9 cut in the same flight, with the same audience and the same measurement, so the answer comes from your campaign rather than from someone else's case study.

How many people actually scan the QR code?
icon

Very few, and the number is falling. Scan rates on connected TV ads measured about one in ten thousand impressions in the first half of 2025 and fell to roughly four in a hundred thousand by the fourth quarter, according to BrightLine data reported by EMARKETER. A QR code is a cheap extra path worth including, and it is not a business case.

Is this cheaper than making a television spot?
icon

You skip the shoot, which is the largest single line, and that saving is real. You do not skip the work. There are still rights extensions for talent and music, reframing and finishing to television spec, legal review of anything claimed on screen, captions and an audio mix, re-renders across the flight when the counts move, and enough variants that one asset does not run into the ground.

Send us three posts. We will tell you which one belongs on TV.

One call, then a shortlist with the rights check, reframe plan and measurement design. Every week in the feed is a week off TV.
